How to use and install ceramic fiber blanket temperature

Ceramic fiber products are much widly used as high temperature insulation materials in many industries, they are used as backing linings and enhance energy saving rate. How to use them in a right way when installing?

Usually we can see two methods are generally taken to install ceramic fibers. The first one is to glue the ceramic fiber blankets or felt layers by layers, nd then rivertthem all together by bolts. Metal bolts will be used if the working temperature is below 1222℃ , while which is higher than 1222℃ ceramic riveting will be used.  The hotsurface will be filled by refractory cement or bulk fibers.

The other method is to use ceramic fiber modules, which is made of folded refratory ceramic fiber blanket. The size of the module is usually 305x305x305mm. The precastmodule could be installed directly couple with the matching bolts and nuts.

Compared the two methods above, the second one has more energy saving rate as the materials are all ceramic fibers from furnace shell to hot side, at the same time,ceramic fiber module is more easy to install and convenient to repair. But they are more expensive.
