Ceramic fiber Refractory Ceramic Fiber Modules Specifically for Kiln Industry are
used by Double Needled Spun ceramic fiber blanket or ceramic fiber mat assembly
as per structure and dimensions, folded on a dedicated machine and cutted
into different sizes,like Z block, Pyroblock,etc. Because each expansion in different
directions of each pieces of ceramic fiber module,ceramic fiber module shall be
compressed as per a certain percentage, in order that a module between another
become a seamless whole part, then these modules shall be directly fixed on the
anchor nail of the tunnel kiln shell steel components through various forms of anchors.
Aluminum Silicate fiber module (blok therminal) features:
1. high temperature: high temperature fire resistant fiber products has a long term
working temperatures up to 900-1350 degree Celsius according to difference species.
2. Small bulk density:High temperature insulation Ceramic Fiber products optimum
bulk density is 96-240kg/m3. A bulk density of light weight refractory bricks is
800-1300kg/m3. Bulk density of refractory fiber is 1/4-1/7 of light concrete bricks it has.
3. Small heat capacity: heat capacity of refractory fiber only 1/9 of light refractory
bricks and refractory concrete. As per the formula:heat accumulator =specific heat
capacity*density * average temperature,due to high temperature fire-resistant fiber
products has small bulk density and heat capacity, the heat accumulator is low,
which can reduce the loss of the lining heat accumulator.
4. Convenient Construction : Refractory ceramic fiber does not expansion at high
temperature circumstance. It will not shrink when the temperature is less than 800
degree celsius. And in the construction, donot need to reserve shrinkage joints and
it can be cutted according to the desired size in the construction site.
5. Low thermal conductivity: Refractory thermal ceramics fiber porosity is up to 90%,
is highly solid fiber seprated air in a relatively quiescent situation, can not be achieved
macro-convection. But refractory fiber having a thermal conductivity close to the air,
the bulk density refractory fiber is 100-240kg/m3 , it can be obtained the best thermal
conductivity for the lining.
6. Good sound insulation performance: Covering the layer of fire- resistant fiber can
significantly reduce the high frequency noise and also can absorb some low frequency
noise.

8. Good chemical stability: for most chemical regents (except hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric
acid and alkati), refractory fiber products have good corrosion resistance.
9. Good elasticity: Refractorories fiber products have good compressibility and resilience
(Ceramic fiber mat products are up to 70-90% at room temperature). Using this feature,
in the lining installation, it can be used to offsent the heat shrinkage by pre-compression
method, and it is the ideal filling materials in the lining expansion joint.
