The advantages of using multi-layer insulation linings in Heating Furnace
The heating furnace adopting the multi layer of unshaped refractory materials and light
weight aluminum silicate insulation cotton and other high strength composite lining structure,
is much superior than the traditional brick lining , mainly in the following aspects:
(1) the lining integrity and stability enhancement. As a large number of unshaped
refractory castable (or plastic castable) as the working layer, it is the overall casting
(or ramming), no brick gap, good integrity, strong air tightness, coupled with the stability
of the anchor brick connection lining increased , Anti-mechanical vibration and impact
performance enhancement,then furnace life extended.
(2) a large number of unshaped refractories used, reducing the brick-making process,
refractory material production and delivery cycle is greatly shortened, furnace construction
period is ahead of schedule.
(3) multi-layer insulation lining, insulation performance enhancement, thermal efficiency
improvement, energy conservation. As a large number of the use of light weight insulation
materials (light insulation bricks, fire-resistant aluminum silicate insulation cotton, etc.),
furnace thermal conductivity decrease, insulation performance improve,heat preservation
effect enhance. The heat loss is reduced, the heat utilization rate is increased, and the
production cost is reduced.
(4) Lining weight reduction, reduce the project cost. As a result of the light weight high
aluminum composite structure, the lining thinning, compared with the traditional brick lining,
in the same size of the case, the composite lining quality is reduced by 40% than the brick lining.
Lining quality greatly reduced, so that the cost of the refractories used by the furnace also will
be substantially reduced and the furnace construction period is greatly shorted.
(5) due to extensive use of the unshaped refractory material, the overall casting or ramming,
mechanized construction and operating efficiency improved, then reduce the workers’ labor
intensity.
As the composite lining with the above characteristics, it is widely used in the heating furnace.
It improved efficiency from the selection, construction, production and so on,significant savings
in energy, unshaped refractories and aluminum silicate insulation lining combination is reduced
the weight of heating furnace lining. And the structure is more reasonable, thereby enhancing
the furnace work space and obtain a greater output.
