used in General Boiler or Furnaces?
Aluminum Silicate Fiber Temperautre Blanket is light weight refractory product
developed in the early 1960s,. It belongs to Amorphous (glassy) Fibers as per its
morphology. It is made by mixed hard clay clinker or industrial alumina powder
and silica powder together as raw materials, melting by electric arc furnace or
resistance furnace, blowing compressed air or spun technology into fibers.
After then processed into ceramic fiber blankets, ceramic fiber plates/board,
ceramic fiber module units, ceramic fiber textiles other prefabricated blocks
and components.
Low Temperature Ceramic Fiber: Usually Al2O3 content is more than 40%.
This kind fiber has low production cost, high shrinkage, lower strict on harmful
impurities requirements, cheaper price, only slightly more expensive than mineral
fibers, but the heat resistantce better than mineral wool. Working Temperature
700-800℃, provide a favorable conditions for the industrial furnaces, solving the
problem that general fibrous insulation materials can not withstand the
temperature between 700-900℃.
Ordinary Ceramic Fiber: natural hard clay clinker as raw materials, Al2O3
content is more than 45%,harmful impurities content around 3%-4%, working
temperature is up to 1000℃.
High Purity Ceramic Fiber: Industrial Alumina powder and silica powder as
raw material, harmful impurities less than 1%. Working temperature is higher
than ordinary aluminum silicate fiber at 1100℃.
High Alumina Fibers: industrial alumina powder and silica powder as raw
material. Al2O3 content is more than 55%, harmful impurities content is less
than 1%. Due to the high Al2O3 content, the ratio of Al2O3 and SiO2 is close
to Mullite fiber, it reduces the amount of Crystallization, thereby it improve the
heat resistance and thermal shock properties. Working temperature is up at 1200℃.
Chromium-containing Ceramic Fiber: adding 3%-6% Chromium Oxide into High
purity Ceramic fiber mixed materials to suppress crystallization of amorphous
fiber changes occurring under heated conditions, so it called Chromium Stailized
fibers. Working temperature 1200℃.
Zirconium Silicate Fibers: adding Zircon sand into mixed materials by Alumina
powder and Silica powder, making ZrO2 content up to 12-15%. Working temperature
is increased to 1300℃.
